Chandresh Undhad is the Director, Quality, for Gates Biomanufacturing Facility (GBF). He oversees operation of Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Facility engineering team. Having joined the company as Quality Assurance Manager in 2019, he leads the quality strategy for GBF’s growing portfolio of products and brings a wealth of experience across therapeutic modalities, including cell therapy and biologics.

Prior to joining GBF, Chandresh was at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he held various positions including in cell therapy product development and technology transfer. He built the quality system for early-stage cell therapy products, which were critical for the center’s mission to provide treatment options to patients with unmet needs.

Chandresh was co-author on this important study on how small molecule c-Rel inhibitor reduces alloactivation of T-cells without compromising anti-tumor activity.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and earned his Master’s degree in Pharmacology from Long Island University.
